candela Projects
Since 2018, Candela has completed or sold approximately 6.5 GWac of utility-scale solar and solar + battery storage projects across the United States. Three projects have been advanced to the start of construction, two of which, totaling 450 MWac, are in operation today. In addition, one 400 MWac solar + storage project is construction-ready, and other projects, totaling 5.5 GW, have been sold profitably prior to construction.

Legacy Projects
From 2008 to 2017, 38 solar projects representing over 5 GWac were developed at First Solar, Inc. (and its predecessor company, NextLight Renewable Power) by our team, under the direction of Brian Kunz. For over 18 years, the Candela leadership team has consistently delivered high quality projects, many of which were first of a kind and have included groundbreaking engineering methods, pioneering transactions and innovative problem-solving.
