Chell Stoddard, Manager, real estate

As part of the Candela real estate team, Chell supports development work as a subject matter expert on survey, title, and securing land contracts. His most recent role before joining Candela was as Senior Land Manager in Avangrid Renewable’s Asset Management Group, where he worked with land issues, from contracting initial land rights to coordinating with landowners during the construction and operation of the facilities.    

Chell has 19 years of experience developing and siting utility-scale power projects, with 13 years working exclusively with renewable energy.  He has been directly involved in developing more than 2,000 MW of operating US electric generation: including natural gas, wind, and solar power.  Chell has a bachelor’s degree in economics.
